Creative Experience

  • January 2022-June 2023: Rewrite of début novel and current project, Skinhead Symphony, in retrospective narrative mode. Plot focuses on protagonists Kurt and Apple’s attempts to reintegrate into mainstream society as the decent, tolerant people they have always secretly been, complicated by their national profiles as survivors of Whyte’s Farm, a now-infamous white supremacist compound. 
  • April 2020-ongoing: Self-taught guitar, singing and songwriting.
  • November 2017-March 2018: Completed first draft of Skinhead Symphony. Plot focused on the experiences of two teenage narrators held hostage by their parents at a white supremacist compound. Final word count: 76,404.

  • March 2018: Writing portfolio shortlisted for Scholastic Art & Writing Award.
